Holiday still life, velvet pumpkins, gatsby girls & one dragon...

It was a holiday in France last Tuesday - but not for all Aquarellistas, because those who were there worked very well!  A still life with glass bottles was the challenge for both Liz and Carol. They created beautiful aquarelles, in their respective styles!
Still life with bottles by Liz - now finished...

Same still life through the eyes of Carol - to be finished...

There were also some velvet  pumpkins to tackle...Here's André's painting, especially the pumpkin on the right is very accomplished! Can't wait to see the finished painting!

New girl in town Nancy started a lovely painting of silky poppyseed pods

After she finished this very artistic velvet pumpkin - well done!!

Someone called this "A Real Painting" and I agree, Anna Karin did it again, with her big brush! The painting has depth and great colours and it is different - and recognizably hers!

The finished Gatsby girl by Carol. Full of intricate details...

Twenties Hairpiece by Tana - and she'll seriously work on a friendly expression coming session...

Other Twenties girl by Tana! Great monochrome work with expression, pearls and the shine of her hair...

Beautiful cheekbones on this twenties seductress! See also Agnès's blog

Celina's work in progress. Looks very defined -even without the face (that will be added next time)

And last but not least, a dragon - the chinese star sign of Sylvie - a very interesting shape and wonderful colours!
