After the summer season, the Aquarellista group of Atelier the Hangar in Chateauneuf de Grasse will be back on this blog. We missed you, we are proud of what we do - and there are plenty of things we can post about...
Juicy apples by Agnès McLaughlin
At this moment there is an exhibition running, with work that was selected only for it's beauty (some of it has a message too, but that was not what we were looking for. Pleasing for the eye, that was the idea.
A bandoleon by Avril Howard
The expo will continue until end of August and I will post halfway August about the festive opening, with the mayor present and speaking, he was touched by the beauty and the talent he said (and it felt like he meant it)?
Fragile rose by Cathie van der Stel
Then our own Cathie van der Stel has a prestigeous commission of an Australian glossy, that we will have the scoop of! It is not yet printed but way before it hits the shops we will have the pages.
Saxophone by Elia B.
Then our group will participate in an all-Hangar exhibition in the fabulous Centre Culturel in Théoule - with a dedicated Watercolour Wall... We're producing postcards and, well, there's enough to post about and we will!
Liz Douglas' Bowl of Fruit
The illustrations in this article are paintings which were made during our last session before the summer break...
