Fruit peels in watercolours!

Last Tuesday we left the dark-light-dark exercise behind us (although some of us couldn't help ourselves, see below 😊) and we worked on 'Peels'. It turned out to be a wonderful subject and the paintings - well, awesome comes to mind! See for yourself!!

Mie worked with watercolours for the first time since kindergarten and she clearly hasn't 'lost it'. Look at those marbles!! The background below is very promising too, what do you see?

Cecile joined Mie for this one time, she lives and works in Denmark. She amazed us with her feel for colours, composition and transparency! We hope to see her soon again

Shirley painted a mandarin and I don't have her permission to post it (it was pretty good - but I am so obedient 😌) so she tried out the 'washing exercise and it is going to be spectacular! Watch this space... More next time!
