Watercolour Flowers, Animals, Pebbles, Fruit and Exercises

Tuesdays' Aquarelle session was with a group of 5 - lots of Easter holidays, plumbers, family visits. So we ditched the subject and did what we felt like. And as always the results are magic! I am travelling this week, so no extensive comments, but the paintings are all telling their own stories:

Wonderful paintings by the wonderful Anna Karin

This sweet rabbit was painted by Anne - we all loved its expression!!

And the sweetest kitty was painted by Genevieve, mainly to practice fluffy fur. Belly and top of head: check!

Sylvie painted some more pebbles to create an original card for a sad occasion. I do hope it was appreciated because it was a lot of work and looked so beautiful (much better that this photo, sorry!)

next to the rabbit, Anne worked hard on the expression of 'transparency'. The mango in the glass bowl may need some more whit but is very transparent! And she gave her own impression to the 'bird behind a curtain'. It is actually quite funny with the flamingo  in pink!

Michel also painyed the flamingo and now certainly understands. He also finished two earlier exercises.

That was it for this week - next week's subject - your favourite gem!
