Piles of clothes in watercolours - a colourful start of the new season!

As usual the first session in September was not super crowded - but the quality was great as usual! We painted 'stacks of clothes, with detail and challenging shadows and colour mixes, to get into the groove again.

Martine's was very detailed and colourful

Michèle I created a tasteful very neat pile with great shadows

Anne's pile of violet cachemire pulls became a gorgeous landscape!!

A pile of prison costumes 😋that's what I see here.
I had such fun painting this - simple but with a story behind it

We have a new Aquarellista, another Michèle!  She has no prior watercolour experience but knows how to paint, and loves experimenting. Hence the different colour scheme and the 'odd one out' shadow. Looking forward to seeing more of her!

Judith's portrait of the lovely girl with red baret is al-most there! Some tiny tweaks to make it perfect. Looking forward to presenting you the finished version next week....
