Roaring Twenties

 Carol's sepia portrait
The Aquarellistas are in Great Gatsby mood! It is such an inspiring period, the Roaring Twenties - and it has so much to do with the Riviera... Think Eden Roc, think Scott Fitzgerald and think Eileen Gray.! I visited her house in Roquebrune-Cap Martin last week and heard about her history - in 1920 she drove a car, wore pants, had a much younger lover and designed her own house and furniture. Which by the way still looks enormously modern! So Cool... Such a role model...
 Elia B.'s mischievous looking beauty

Carol, Tana, Agnès and Edith were equally inspired and created great portraits of strong 'twenties' women...
A twenties beauty with a scorching look

If you like that style too, why not come to the Roaring Twenties-themed Charity Event in the gorgeous Intercontinental Carlton in Cannes? Great Gatsby combined with great food, great wine and great entertainment (dance, music, casino and more) 150€ a seat and all proceeds go to Make-A-Wish...

Agnès naughty twenties girl with bare shoulder - and feathers obviously!

Practice your Charlston moves, stick some feathers in your hair and come over... Saturday 19 November, Carlton, Cannes! Book or more info via http://donate.ncoweb.org
