Watercolours of birds - by the Aquarellistas

Sylvie painted this amazing landing goose - here you see her in action, with her amazing setup:

This post is chock full of amazing watercolours! We start with last week's new subject 'Birds', followed by the subject of a week ago, 'Pans' and then there are of course the paintings inspired by other ideas. Here goes....

And how about Cathie's  gorgeous -and cute- cockatoo,

Or this delicate and playful Kingfisher by Leonie

Isabelle works on flying birds above a rough sea,  an inspiring image.
 She created 4 versions
Which one do you like best?
I think this is going to be my favourite!

An awesome dove flying high, magic! by Ilse

Vanessa painted this lively sun-down with seagulls. The thing that made it all come together were the tiny white specks, achieved by scratching out a tiny bit of paint with a knife.

Carol finished her set of copper pans, aren't they fantastic! The shine is so real

Sylvie's espresso pot and cup - super atmosphere, steam and hot coffee! a great morning painting

Jutta finished her casserole composition with a very very good, fitting background . What a patience - and it worked out perfectly!

Celina's copper pans are already very good - she has used salt in a clever way. when finished, the grey (masking fluid) areas will be highlights and there will be a shadow, to achieve more volume... Looking forward to seeing the final result!

Jutta's poppies are so wonderfully transparent! She has been contemplating a background, but we all think it is exactly right like this.

Brenda's bent trees are now finished. They are so full of memories (and character), that she is dong more versions, one in oil and one in watercolours.

Vanessa also finished her dreamy wisteria garden. The perspective tells you that she is floating above it. Wonderful!
