Hélène's bat is so cute and fluffy and not scary at all
Did we have a good time during the last 2 sessions (Tuesday and Thursday) - with Halloween around the corner? We had our own version and let ourselves be inspired by some of it! Not everyone thinks bats are cute, so there are other animals in their place. We played Latin Music because that was in the air and had lots of ginger tea. Did it work out? Look for yourself!
Sylvie D. at her best! Please meet Herman the chameleon. (With his tail high up so you don't see it).
Judith also reached new heights. Look at the tail of her squirrel! SO fluffy... The pumpkins below are hers too. The first, but I guess next week we'll have more, from others
The start of Jutta's Halloween painting. It already has a mysterious and lightly scary look and feel - imagine how it will be when there are more trees - and crows and bats (Next week's post)
And then there were the fountains! The subject of last week lingers, it is so interesting.
A fabulous version of the mythological sculpture-fountain by Michele C. Masking will come off next week - and there will be loads of water splashes, scratched out!
Sylvie D's 'poor man's fountain' now finished - isn't it awesome?! Big compliment!
Vanessa created an atmosphere of peace and quiet - and have you seen the water? Great stuff!
Liz hated missing fountain-painting last time, so she caught up this Tuezday. And how...It is not yet finished, but that light, those shadows... awesome!
Cathie started on a design for a fountain. It looks as if the upper part floats above the base! I find it sensational... More next time...
See this fountain - it has humour, the dolphins seem to be dancing and it is very well-painted! You may recognize Celina 's style...
Brenda had her last session of this year. She finished her breathtaking fountain -inspired by Michael Reardon- just in time!
And apart from this, there were a couple of other paintings, which were so fantastic that I don't want you to miss them:
Carol painted this awesome still life - better, warmer and more creative than a photo - as well as the fresh and shiny peppers below. I'm a fan!
Sandra's White Cliffs... So much happening there under the surface - I find this a very deep painting.
Catherine painted this delicate, perfect and beautifully coloured orange rosebud
And Sonya painted this in her 4th watercolour afternoon! She calls it 'tattood branches' and that's a good title. Originally it is an exercise - but she took it 3 levels higher and created an artwork!
