Weekly Aquarellista Challenge 3: Lightbulbs

Liz painted this amazing watercolour, with fantastic, warm light, very clear, thin glass and metal holders.

This week's challenge was 'light bulbs' and the results are awesome to say the least! I am delighted to see all that light and those fragile glass bulbs, of so many Aquarellistas.
Celina is in Oslo where she still does not have all the necessary watercolour items, but gets results anyway! Here are her light bulbs. aren't they powerful?!!

Michele's "Ampoule' is broken but it has a flame that still gives light. There is always a way...It is maybe a bit gloomy but it has hope anyway and I think it is brilliantly painted!!

Sue created this painting, here with the masking still on - I love it, it is so mysteriously surrealistic!

Vanessa"s light bulb is so silvery and modest! A darker background would maybe make it stronger, but this is such a very sweet subtle little light. Lovely.

Creative as always, Anna Karin has painted the reflection of her lamp on her (empty) wine glass. It is a wonderful and very realistic situation, and there's a friendly face in it as well. !

Jutta worked on this unbelievably beautiful view of a sunset on a rough sea, with a tiny little ship - seen through a very transparent thin glass light bulb. Interesting and great painting!

And the last light bulb in this blog comes from Carol! It spreads a warm and probably healing light over all of us! The metal is a good counterbalance!

In the meantime...
Hélène drew a 'nounou' with watercolour pencils. It looks so sweet, and a good idea: paint your kids' or granddkids' favorite toy...

Marie-Jo has had a good production this week, she painted 3 irises, 2 shown here and a tap. The irises are painted in different styles but both excellent!

Marie-Jo's 'robinet' - a very well painted tap, water streaming out of it! Click on the picture to see it better, it is worthwhile...

Maud also worked with us and created this cute watercolour with butterflies and little red flowers...
