Michele created this transparent egg - it looks like it is made of crystal and it has an amazing graphic look.
The theme of our 4th challenge was 'Beautiful Eggs' with a wink direction Easter. Many Aquarellistas participated and the results are as always very good!
Vanessa is beginning to develop a style. A delicate, lovely but still quite sharp way of painting. I love this fragile egg, reminding me of Delft Blue!
And here is Anna Karin's beautiful egg. So recognizable, painted with a big brush wth a fine point and still very subtle. Love the simplicity, it makes it such a strong image...
And another egg painting that is true to style: Liz painted these six cool shiny, metallic eggs, in her typical robust style. The colours are great and very 'Liz' too.
I mentioned Delft Blue already, well, Michele painted 12 lovely Delft Blue style eggs in a carton, and 8 even blue ones. Gorgeous soft shine! (by the way - note that you instinctively know what an egg looks like - it is easy to find the ones that are not exactly egg-shaped...)
Sue used cling film to get the marbled effect on most of her eggs. They look fabulous. She also feeds back that the Davie'ss Grey paint was fantastic !
Elia B., aka Edith, has joined us for Easter and she combined her amazing eggs with two über cute bunnies
Jutta painted not one but three watercolours. Of fantastic, loosely painted Easter bunnies, I absolutely love them.
These two, also from the hand of Jutta, have humor. Above in it's attitude and below - the look and the facemask... hilarious.
Sylvie finished her ballet shoes. Breathtakingly beautiful, well done!
Marie-Jo painted the wonderful bell above for the purple/yellow challenge but she didn't like the background. Now she has redone it and also painted a gorgeous string of lights. Good work!!
