The Aquarellista Illustrated Cookbook

Monica did not yet finish her avocados but nearly there. Nice save of the white.

Here are last week's creations. All watercolours around the subject 'ingredients', a very functional one as we are going to produce a cookbook this winter. It is one of our favourite discussion-subjects and between us we have so many good recipes!! Cathie kindly hosted the session during my absence! Big thank you to her! No surprise that everybody loved it - and she was very happy with the results!

From our correspondent in Bretagne, Michele, comes this awesome still life  with coconut and oil - the basis for many fabulous sweet and savoury dishes!

Liz did a lovely fruit pic for the recipe book. For a smoothie or juiced drink recipe.

Sarah painted these watermelon slices  & though not quite finished, it is looking beautiful.

On Thursday Sue chose the same still life as Michele, and I find it spectacular how different their styles are!

and another avocado set by Jutta. There will be so many recipes with avocado in the book... We love to both paint and eat them!!

And here's another wonderful food-related subject, red chillies, painted by Celina.

 In the meantime...

Sarah finished her blue flowers by adding a little green. Great job says Cathie and I agree!

Brenda worked on a sketch from our trip to Coursegoules. It has such a sunny quality now!

Liz tweaked a bit on the green bottles and still is not sure how to finish them  off ... Let's see next week!

Louise finished her bear in the snow with Northern lights. She did lots of fun experiments on how she could do background and look how beautiful it came out!
Jutta finished off her fantastic, beautiful dear with a dark blue sky. It is a fabulous painting, that is going to make a wonderful present for a friend

Randi's happy watercolour is also a present, she shares this memory with her daughter who had an accident and will appreciate something sunny to look at...

Sonya's holiday has begun but she still finished  her natural tunnel! She used salt for the autumn leaves on the ground, and the trees are so mysterious nowt! And the light at the end is stillvery peaceful...
Here's a bit of extra work from Judith! She is on holiday ànd started with a new approach last Thursday. So we finish with a Judith-special, with flower-like shapes that get their definition from a touch of black felt pen, no further comments needed!
