Le Aquarellista Cookbook continues...

The last Aquarellista session, we concentrated on the illustrations for our cookbook. Slowly but certainly we are getting there - and the recipes are going to be delicious as well! Below some oof the results:
Celina has fabulous recipes. These mushrooms are illustrations for a yummy starter

Carol is painting a second version of her peppers, first of all because she loves the subject and also because she sold the other one (yay!)

Anna-Karin is back with us and worked on two versions of the 'Chick pea: one sprouted (on the left) and the other one is the plant! I have never seen it. Going to be gorgeous.

Sonya created the illustration for her recipe of roasted vegetables with maple leaf syrup

Jutta finished her Pumpkin-soup ingredients

In the meantime...

Sonya experimented 'freestyling' in watercolours and succeeded!

Brenda painted this carved pumpkin with matching thorn twigs

Judith is SO on a roll with her portraits!! She starts with the sturcture (=a thin sketch of a face, so that the proportions are not lost) and then takes lots of paint in strong colours... They are so good, even she has to admit "it is not too bad"
😃

Anna Karin started this (forgot the name again! sorry!) plant before she went to Sweden for the holidays and finished it now. Fantastic, inspiring and different, as always. We are happy she is back!

Leonie is still in Australia but picking up a brush again - painting this endearing bee, working hard on the blossoms to get the honey home in time

on Thursday, Randi showed that she is really getting there! These sunflowers are absolutely gorgeous. And the other 2 bouquets (all 3 produced in the same session) are very good too!

Sue is back from Greece and hasn't forgotten how to! She painted a very Indian Summer sunset in Mandelieu (you can see the Islands as reference) It is SO fantastic!! The colour palette, the light, everything. Love it.

And Cathie inspired awe in everyone with this
worn, leather backpack. Not only did she get this far in less than 2 hours - she was also painting with a one-hair brush.
