Bev is back from the States! We were so happy to welcome her again - and she will stay for a couple of months, so after the summer break you can look forward to strong watercolours in her typical intense colours!
Brenda painted this fantastic calm cool beach scene. It is end of the day, long shadows and wisps of cloud. Time to go home and have a nice drink...
... and we heard from our fantastic Aquarellista Bibbi! She has not been well but still follows us and carefully started painting again. She hasn't lost her touch as you can see and I do hope we'll see this highly interesting beach view finished one day!
In the meantime...
Brenda finished her Aloe Vera, adding a bit of dew on the leaves. It is now a very sunny and fresh watercolour, great subject to paint on a hot and sunny day.

Same for Jutta, who not only finished her dew drops but also added some calming black pebbles and bamboo, to improve the composition
Cathie has taken up a new Valbonne project - and will also (some day soon) have a collection of cards and other Valbonne-related goodies in The English Bookshop in Valbonne. We will keep you posted on that!
The bookshop is moving to a better spot, and to make that possible they are organising a Fundraiser.
Here's a preview of what will be available:
