Aquarelle Christmas Cards part II

An in-between post with a couple of Christmas card-examples, because they were created while the dark/light projects were drying! The techniques and execution may inspire you, for now or for next year...

Sue's Christmas baubles, very well painted; that light, that volume!  And best of all, the complementary colours...

Janine had good fun with her Christmas trees. Above, with masking fluid still on - but already great! And below two quickies, with a lot of water added on the bottom, creating a natural shadow. Good idea and lovely effect.

Celina's new great idea: a series of small cards to add to a present. And she drew a thin line around each of the finished cards of last week. They are perfect now!

100% Geneviève, this sled in the northern lights...
100% Geneviève, cette luge dans les aurores boréales...

Sylvie's cards,  with masking and salt and almost abstract, but those colours!!! FAB

Shirley already took off the  masking fluid and this is what that looks like!

Judith - of course with an original look but how wonderful is this one! A happy outlook on the future.
