The Aquarellistas continue their search for a way to represent 'Elements' in watercolours! Below some new ideas in the results of last Tuesday and Thurday's sessions!
Shirley created the fabulous grains, coming out of the element 'Earth'. What a fantastic and capricious composition...And below stage 2 of the abstract of last week.

Steam, representing the elements Water and Fire.
This very strong and clever painting came to us from Bretagne and was created by Michele
Roxane continued with her frozen water, a challenge in colour mixing.
Two Fantastic Fires by Judith, the pictures don't do them justice, somehow the red was much brighter in the real thing...
Geneviève has started with this amazing painting, representing 'Earth'
Anna painted this 'great ball of Fire', gently sinking in the sea. Very well done, with bold brush strokes and bright colours!
Thecla has already worked hard on her footsteps in the wet sand - but I have bo pics, sorry! Luckily she also decided to do the spheres exercise, and the result is very lovely and soft.
together with Thecla, Merel painted her own balls. Different style, different colours yet similar quality!
Next she painted this strong abstract composition. Very interesting!

Janine handled the straw for the first time and created this lovely painting of 2 rabbits, talking to each other in the moonlight. Too cute! And well done, even the 'missing part' is actually adding something.
Two versions of Anna Karin's trees, the one above now finished and absolutely stunning, the addition of the transparent leaves works really well. The trees below are breathtaking - Anna Karin feels they are not yet complete, so she will continue a bit.
It is hardly visible - but Celina has created this watercolour using a straw. in a very subtle and fine way.The tree in the foreground gives the composition -that reminds me of a snow landscape -a lot of depth.
