Glen's very original take on the whole, she painted pears in fantastic Warhol-style!
Jutta is -as always- building her painting, in a careful and original way.Her version will have 2 more portraits loosemy based on herself - but even with 2 it is very interesting!!
Geneviève has created a fabulous version, with different expressions on the different Marilyns...
And how about this one, carefully created in Bretagne by Michele!! I adore it. So original and very very well done, with the shadows and the contrasts
Thecla bravely took a picture of her daughter and changed the colours into Warhol-style. I find it a worthwhile experiment and again - original!
Janine chose to create a perfect copy - not yet completely finished, and already spectacular!!
Marie combined her research 'into light' with a Warholly approach. Well done and I like the top-left one best because everything is darker than the highlight and the shadow goes on behind it...
In the meantime...
And how about this one!! Painted by our own wild child Shirley, who used lots of salt and indigo, Payne's grey and ochre to achieve this fantastic image.
Marie went for a difficult Clair-obscur and although we were all very enthusiastic about it, she wasn't happy. Which means that you can look forward to more amazing versions with an even better light fall! Watch this space...
Inspired by Marie's quest for light, Ingrid painted this lion, lit by the moon. She worked with this masking fluid lines
Sonya took the same subject, the lion, but approached it completely different. I think it is very impressive - only, she wanted it to be more gentle and less macho, so she will continue until she achieves that. Admirable!
Judith has started a couple of cool experiments, painting very wet with colours that give a strong border. And then using a tiny water spray to achieve the 'irregular' edges
