Painting Clouds in Watercolours

 Last week's sessions we spent experimenting with painting clouds. We used 2 wet-in-wet methods: 

1. Wet the paper thoroughly, start with the clouds, then paint the sky

2. Wet the paper thoroughly, paint the sky, using a strong blue, possibly from dark (up) to light (down) and create the clouds with kitchen paper

Of course there are several other ways, and combinations, but this one worked really well for us! As you can see below. 

Everyone experimented, just to try it out and without the 'pressure' of getting it right. It was fantastic and so free!! And still there are some amazing clouds!!
