Unexpected success with the subject last week, the aquarellistas felt like painting little girls dressed up like princesses! As you can see below, every single artist took a personal approach and although the subject is the same, the paintings are very different! I love the way it worked out- hope you do too...
we start this post with Corinne's painting. Because it is simply fabulous! In every respect, there is movement, great colours, proportions perfect and then the lovely expression... A total winner, bravo!
Same goes for Janine, she left out the girl but did an absolutely amazing job on the yellow skirt with black embroidery. Fabulous!
Brenda painted this lovely classic ballroom-dressed girl and is going to adjust it a little bit next week - but it is mostly done and sweet...
Manuela created this cute coquette little smiling sweetheart, with golden bow!
Geneviève painted a girl in turquoise glitter-dress. It had a gorgeous seam - but it didn't make the picture!
This fairytale beauty with romantic violet dress in a mysterious forest was created by Sonya. She wasn't happy with it - but what does she know, right?!😜
Anna painted the dancing queen - amazing, beautiful with it's light and so happy!!
And this beautiful portrait of a girl in an amazing lush green dress is the work of Marie!
Marina's 5 minute wet-in-wet demo painting came out really well too
Martine chose her own slightly related subject, and man do I love the colours!
Geneviève also worked on a different take on fabric. We love it - and mostly appreciated the background.
Ingrid took last week's subject and painted this wonderful transparent scarf!
Anna Karin is back!!! This means we will soon have our next Swedish painting project. Can't wait!! Last session she just worked calmly with her big brush and lovely colours on these blossoms.
Thecla went for abstract. The one above is a work in progress, with very strong perspective and I am enthusiastic! The painting below is also from her hand . Original and somehow very cozy!
