The first session of the Hangar season was hosted by the wonderful Cathie! Not so many aquarellistas could take advantage - most will come back from holidays a bit later in September and even yours truly was not there. As always, the results speak for themselves, I couldn't be more proud, fabulous work!!
A big thank you to co-teacher Cathie who made it all run smoothly

Corrine joined us for the first time. She clearly has experience, but as Cathie
reports, wasn’t very happy with her painting. Until Cathie suggested to
make the background really dark - very good advice and look how marvellous this soft off-white scarf has come out! Bravo!

"Genevieve was VERY happy & you can see why. Great job!"

"Manuela was also very content after some fine tuning with the darks."

Sometimes a subject is not ticking boxes for you - and then you can either do something else, or give it a try anyway - brave, and good for your character! This happened to Thecla and she persevered. And then didn't think much of it and tore it up. By the way: that's very therapeutical. Cathie however was put it back together because it is lovely and deserves a picture.(kinda tells how high the level is!)
