With the upcoming Expo 'Inspirations Américains', the Aquarellista group has a wonderful subject to create from, for 2 weeks in a row. Below are the first results - most 'WIP's (works in progress) to give you a taste for what you can expect. Most of them don't need an explanation, they ooze American inspiration! NB - the blue outer lines are tape that will be taken off after the painting is ready and give the spectacular white borders! To be continued next week!!
Thecla's WIP - a view on Central Park (from her own picture)
Martine with 2 Wips, a skyline and a very atmospheric gas station!
Corinne's New York (from her own picture)
Olga's Route Sixty-Six
Anna's amazing headdress
Sue's WIP with already amazing eagle and headdress in progress...
Geneviève's ancient Indian in a Sepia/Ochre tone
Jutta's very own version of the founding fathers. So funny and brave, everything crossed that she will finish it in time!!
