Groups of people II: Interaction! in watercolours

The Aquarellistas continued their challenge with painting groups of people, this time wit 'interaction'!
It worked! most had pictures of family as inspiration, and look below at the results (some WIP - but already very good and telling a story!

Martine's WIP telling the story of travels with friends

Janine's WIP telling the story of father & kids on a night out

Jutta's early stages WIP telling a story about a picknick (1 person still missing in this pic)

Shirley's picture is finished and certainly tells a story - of people having a row.
Purely expressed by their body language. Very good!

Michele's group is young and her painting has a great feel, I interpret it as relief and full of hope for the future.

Marina's story of Aquarellistas (Left to right Jutta, Sylvie, Thecla, Janine, Martine, Anna Karin and Shirley) working really hard on their 'group' watercolours 😄

Anna Karin's large size WIP, took a very long time to dry so no people in it yet but it will be her family and it will be fantastic! You'll see it next week.

WIP by Anna - just started one small group that will have lots of interaction when finished...

Janine finished her group of last week, so well done! They are enjoying a view whilst having a good time...

Martine with another story of travels - in the snow. Those shadows really give it depth!!

And then there were other ideas and finished projects!

Jutta brought her 'American Inspiration' painting, that she hadn't finished in time for the expo - what a shame, because it is so original, wonderful and funny!

While Anna Karin waited for her landscape to dry, she started a snowdrop painting in her great personal style!

Thecla did not feel like doing something figurative and created an excellent abstract vintage still life!

Thelma started a commission of a goat - in this stage it looks quite abstract and I love it already
