After 2 weeks in the Expo space we're back 'chez nous' in the good old Hangar and we painted 'groups of people', an idea Geneviève came up with a long time ago and we finally have 2 weeks to concentrate on it. It has to do with interaction, horizon and proportions. Most of us avoided facial expressions by painting their people seen from behind, except Martine who used photo of her family and created 7 little portraits! All this can be done 'live' but for now we worked with the help of photo's, either our own or from internet. As you can see below, all paintings have a liveliness and an expression, even when you only see the backs. The photos are bad quality, so sorry but luckily they are all WIP and next week we'll have better and finished ones... Also we may work 'live' and paint each other. Can't wait!
