Pebbles in Watercolours

Martine painted this über-Zen pile of stones. So balanced, so simple, so calm. Very well done!

Colourful pebbles by Sylvie, it set us up for a next challenge, precious stones! Not next time, but soon...

Great, loose painting of pebbles by Jutta. With random splashes of pigment and (still invisible) of masking fluid, which will give this painting an extra sparkle!

An amazing still life of balanced stones, seen from a low standpoint and painted by Geneviève

two balanced piles of stones, painted by Michele. Still working with us from Bretagne!

Anna Karin created both paintings, using only Opera Rose, Indantrene blue and raw Sienna. You may remember this from her two fabulous workshops - the colour combinations give fantastic effects (as you can see) and create beautiful strong 'borders'

Michel painted this fantastic abstract, I am very enthusiastic about it as it is so mysterious and balanced and interesting as a composition. It promises a lot for the future.

Same for Anne, second exercise and look at this! So original - and a lot of volume (which is the purpose)

Judith painted this warm, loving portrait of her father. He has such a friendly look on the world and there is a lot of wisdom too. I have never known him but I a pretty sure she caught his essence.

Last week I accidentally called her Ella Fitzgerald, but it actually is Singer and actress Ruth Brown! Title of this fantastic portrait, so full of character: "Ruth in the mood"

Awww and last but not least, Michele's portrait of a fluffy bunny. So cute! Well done
