Caterpillars in Watercolours

Last weeks' subject  was 'Caterpillars'. Judith painted a couple, in tender loving procession

A delicate solo-caterpillar painted by Anna, with a geometric background that works so well! And if you tilt your head to the right, you can see he resembles a dog 😄

Elisabeth created this beautifully striped guy - who blends in with the background, well done by lifting the wet paint to make lighter stripes and the darker stripes with light on them!

WIP by Anne, who was working very concentrated on her 'Couleur Locale' painting for the Hangar exhibit. While that dried she painted this one - and actually it looks like it is going to be great, with the bright red leaf!

Ingrid's caterpillar is looking so sturdy and firm, as if it can run off the paper any minute. Also well done on the 'roundness' of it!

This is my caterpillar, up in the air holding on to a twig. I love him, he has a tiger face!

Apart from the caterpillar - painting, there was hard work on the Couleur Locale project for the Hangar expo (also by Sandra, no pictures of her excellent work, you will have to visit the expo to check it out)

Anne.s Couleur Locale, in progress and already stunning in colours! It will have a foaming sea and rocks in the foreground...

Sylvie's watercolour on canvas for the Expo, very Couleur Locale also

Michèle has landed in Bretagne again and picked up her watercolour brush! She painted a very beautiful and interesting flowering cactus. Great subject! We will do that too someday soon...

Next to her caterpillar, Anna also started a new very beautiful and interesting project. Doesn't need explanation - other than, it is going to be tasteful and in warm modest tones

Ingrid finished her cherry-painting of last week, are those guys wet and attractive or what! Fabulous!

No cute doggies or beautiful little kids this time for Judith, she was back to the wild experimenting vibe and created her 'Couleu Locale' (above) and a Great! Abstract (below):

What do you see in it? We see a female figure held back by friendly (looking) white ribbons.
And more beautiful madness came out of her brushes.
This last one has so much passion. I see war and peace, high speed and stillness. You?
