Loose ends - all in watercolours

With the holidays rapidly coming, groups are small but there are plenty of other activities!

Yet first things first, the paintings of last week! During the Thursday session, both Janine and Anna chose 'Purple' as their subject. Avril chose 'Cattle' and only did sketches, I'll show her paintings next week...

Simple and powerful, these purple sunglasses by Anna!

Subtle and transparent, this beautiful butterfly by Janine (who also painted a flower but that went missing

And in other news:

Our top Aquarellista Sandra Seymour-Dale will have an exhibition in 'L’Office de Tourisme' in Cabris together with her friend and colleague, sculptor Julie Janvrin.

Then the Day trip to Auribeau that the Marinas hosted last Wednesday. It was a wonderful outing and lots of watercolours were used!  I post the watercolour related ones here

Watercolours that are created 'the other way round: Start with 'blobs' of colour, then dry and draw over them and maybe add a bit more colour. Very nice and 'loose' effect!

Here's the video:

One more session to go and then we close all of August. I will keep you posted on developments (if any) and come back to you beginning of September! Have a good one!
