Weekly Aquarellista Challenge 6: Music

Last week's challenge was to use the theme of the Hangar contest: Music. The deadline of that challenge is 11 May, so there are still a couple of weeks to go. That said, note that if you send early, the attention and publicity will be much better as probably the last days before the deadline 80 works will come in and I can't post them one per day anymore 😜. Some Aquarellistas have finished their submissions already and I'll show them here. They are impressive I can tell you! Check 'em out below:

Michele painted two music-inspired watercolours. A fantastic drum-kit, the best instrument to cool your anger and frustration on. And a young person in the spotlight, playing the clarinet, You can feel the tension and the excitement. Beautiful!

Anna Karin's submission 'Pandemi' Opus 1 . I find it very very special. It is strong, it is abstract but has waves, it has warm and cold tones and on the other hand - it screams. The more I look at it the better it gets. Fantastic!

Liz started with this piper. He is waiting for his background, but awesome and inspiring already. Title not yet sure but it might be 'auld land syne'  (a song played at end of the old year) as we would love to see the back of this year!!!

Celina created the gorgeous graphical flower painting above, and she sent it last week but I forgot to post it, which means that today we have an extra Celina painting...
Below another painting with a strong background. I notice inspiration by negative painting

And her a dragonfly, also by Celina. In ethereal colours and with some playful splashing. Love it.
Sandra is back in touch! She has her wonderful own space at home, where she works on all kinds of half finished paintings, experiments with watercolours, gouache and collage and she creates new aquarelles. Here are 'Rain over Galway ' and 'Viviana', a lovely portrait, full of spunk. and Amour!

Roger is working with us too, from the UK. He has painted his first portrait in watercolours and I am happy to see what he achieved without any help!
