Weekly Aquarellista Challenge 8: Animal portraits

What a great portrait of a donkey! Created by Sue in original colours, with amazing looseness, great colours, salt and masking fluid.

This fluffy sweetheart is the Irish terrier of Michele's family: Ouzo at 3 months old. A painting is a great way to make sure you never forget how it really was...

Anna Karin created this aquarelle of a super sweet, brave duckling - with fluffy head'n tail

And how about this very agile field mouse that Vanessa painted. What a clever little creature.

Celina painted this cat - with that special stupid 'it wasn't me'-look that all cat owners recognize 😊

And this is my portrait of an animal, Nayla, a young Golden Retriever. I painted her for a birthday and I used all the tricks for fluffy fur 😊

In the Meantime...

For our Music Challenge, Jutta creatred this lovely Piano Birdie - it could be an illustration for a chidrens' book. If you catch the notes like cherries, you will be singing... In other words - there's hope... For the Porsche Challenge she painted a 'porch' 😊 with pottery. The porch changed into a window in the process, but look at those jugs, they are amazing, well done!
Brenda created some really clever landscapes - exceptionally not with watercolours but with collage! I thought, for once, and because it is Brenda, and because it is a great style, also for watercolours - let's post them!
