Inspired by green, Liz painted these transparent bottles. No masking fluid used, just layers of colour, starting with the lightest. And the result is awesome!
Last session's inspiration was 'the colour green'. It led to a myriad of fantastic paintings and creative ideas, from objects, to animals, to more abstract works... Have a look and be inspired
Michèle, our correspondent in Bretagne, painted other glass bottles, very different - but with a lovely transparency, in the bottles as well as the shadows . The other entry by Michele is a lovely basket with plums. Very green plums...
Green troubled waters painted by Judith. Very lively and transparent!
Hélène painted a lizard or maybe a chameleon, an animal with very beautiful green patterns, an impressive tail and most of all, a very friendly face
Here is the funny green bird by Monica. It looks very good - and it is, for a big part, created with waercolour pencils!
Brenda painted a green and actually multicoloured bullfrog. It is going to decorate the childrens' spare bedrooms. I'm pretty sure they'll be delighted! And below, a green abstract also by Brenda. It is super simple and attractive!
These juicy fresh limes with amazing background form a kind of green statement! very good when the theme is green - and well done, by Sue.
Amazing still life with zucchinis from her own garden. On my turquoise tablecloth! Very well painted by Sonya
Randi took a plant from her garden as example, the dewdrops were real and will bring the whole painting together. The painting below is also by Randi, A lovely abstract illustration with heart.
this fragile green dragonfly was painted by Celina - from next week onward she'll be back and work 'live' with us
In the meantime
Like Monica, Ina also worked with watercolour pencils and created this fabulous natural tunnel with them. I love it!
Hélène's mysterious misty natural tunnel now finished...
Jutta's natural tunnel, with the Mediterranean at the end of it. Fabulous and interesting painting!
By Judith, inspired by Sandra. Looking completely different, but it
opens up towards many many possibilities! And below that you see where it came from:
By Sandra - Lotus flowers, or Autumn leaves, but whatever they are, they are inspiring. Their colours, they way they are painted, the style. Very good artwork, I love it (too)
