Damselflies and Autumn leaves in watercolours

France is in confinement again - and so are the French Aquarellistas! We all have to get the hang of it and that is probably why there weren't too many paintings of Damselflies - or other subjects. Luckily there were some bravehearts! All created by the Thurssday Opio group - and they are fantastic,  as always!  Just have a look below.
If you had started a painting but didn't finish, feel free to send it in for next time!! Everyone's work is welcome, as long as it is created in watercolours!

Sue's Damselfly! In her loose and confident style. It looks so spontaneous, as if she painted it in less than a minute. And actually that is aquarelle at its best! Even though the preparations and planning were meticulous

And here's Randi's contribution - she was also the one who introduced those cute beasties to me. She did them justice! These eyes are so sweet and innocent as well as funny! I love the background and Randi will no doubt be interested in the demo that comes with the next challenge, about the use of salt! Again, there was a lot of preparation:

And then there were the autumn leaves! Sonya makes me proud because she has not given in to perfectionism and it is a big piece of paper, that she loosely painted.

Those colours! Those shadows. Super Cool!

For next week: you are all most welcome to send me your watercolours, even if it is not the subject! Apart from connecting us, it will stimulate others to pick up their brushes in these difficult times...

Looking forward to next week!!
