Michèle did a fantastic and complicated job on this little basket with well-painted eggs! I am so content with these, the colours are great, the patterns full of fantasy and all different, and the eggs have volume. Great big fat compliment for her, well done!
The subject of last week, 'Eggs' was of course based on the Easter period, but I didn't realise that everyone was busy doing other things instead of painting eggs. So, I'll give myself extra lounge-time and just show some of the eggs that I watercoloured through the years. It is a favourite subject, so there is much more where that came from 😀. In the meantime other lovely, creative and original paintings were created as well!!

In the meantime...
Barbara started a painting based on the 'Brown' exercise and it is strong as well as interesting - can that girl cry!!
Rosemarie also took the browns to work with, and started this painting of a butterfly and a sunflower! She let me know that she did not have enough material to create her browns - but it certainly worked out and the browns that are there are completely convincing.
And Judith - she went on creating these wonderful, transparent wisps of colour. So peaceful and intriguing! Can't stop looking... My favourite is the one below. What's yours?
Thanks for everything & CU next week!
