Portraits in Watercolours II - and more...

Martine

We are doing a portrait project with the Aquarellista group that will cover at least 2 weeks. The first session was about the proportions and characteristics of a full frontal face. And about 'how to create skin colour. Above and below the resulting full- frontal portraits. They are magical, though most of them are not yet finished! As I have to finish a portrait myself, I have to keep the comments really short - but the images will speak for themselves! WIP = Work In Progress...

Thecla's WIP - that's how we look with eyeliner and mascara on only one eye
😁

WIP by Corinne - her spanish grand kids!

WIP by Anna Karin, a self portrait, it is not flattering - but still, such a great painting, a real statement

WIP by Sue - she is now going to tweak and then decide if she is going to paint a second version

In the mean time...

Thelma's fabulous market in Sarlat, WIP

Marie, 2 X Christmas card design - more to follow!

Orange Gerbera, unbelievably good!! What a depth! By Randi.

Judith has outdone herself in these two liberated splash paintings. They both tell a story of discovery, freedom and structure...

Thecla is also on the path of discovery! Mark my words, all this will come back, in one way or another. Brilliant!

Janine designed this original Christmas card, following the 'precise, then add water, add a colour, let dry, add details and clear lines with felt pen'-method. Worked out!

And last but not least, the sheepy sheep Christmas card by Ingrid. Fantastic design! Such a great and simple idea, that snow.
