In our latest sessions, the Aquarellistas have continued with the Roses... Challenging as they are, with the brain getting confused between the shapes and the numbers of leaves, and the soft shadows and sharp lines - they are so great to paint. And it is rewarding, because if you persevere, it will always work out in the end. Just like last week, the results are astonishing. I have a lot of other stuff on my plate, so no comments - but I don't think you will miss it - these babies speak for themselves!

Because of the holidays we had a guest, Amelia, 10 years old. Amongst other things she experimented with masking tape and created really cool paintings with it. Great idea!!
The first try - after peeling off the tape she drew tiny little flowers and then patiently wrote 'LOVE'
After the first one had worked out so well, she started a second, using salt, then tracing the outlines of the white and then colouring the inside.- and it turned out SO great! Total street art!!
And then there were portraits!

Alexander by Judith - now finished and SO fabulous!!
Serge Gainsbourg, a portrait honouring his sexyness. By Sandra.
And the start of our selfie project. Lots more to come, this is an on-the side-project for all
