For the small exhibition of the Hangar classes' work on 8 and 9 July, the Aquarellistas are producing Colourful Selfies. It is not hard, but they take time to produce. Here are the first results - pretty amazing!!
Corinne painted this amazing and original one.
Completely different and no less awesome - Janine's Selfie

An interesting, very happy and funny Anne in this version of the selfie!
Martine's first try is colourful and well done and looks like her (in a non-flattering way)
An amazing selfie by Brenda! But as she didn't find it colourful enough, she's going for a second one.
This is going to be me. So looking forward to seeing it develop when there are colours
Not a Self portrait - but Sylvie did a wonderful job on Audrey Hepburn's portrait - what a resemblance!
and in a different tone but no less talented, the portrait of a Samurai by Michèle

Judith is doing it again, the thing with the light!!
It is totally amazing how she has caught it and it will only get stronger when her model will have his beard and hair in the painting too. Can't wait!!
And finally, a very powerful yet sensitive portrait of Conrad the Crow by Sonya
And then there were the other projects...
Vanessa painted a memory of one of her travels. I especially love the reflection, that tells more about the background than the background itself!
Anne worked also on an impression of a flower, without defined shapes yet immediately recognizable -and what a wonderful colour combination!
After finishing her awesome Selfie, Corinne still had time left to paint this colourful & cute set of parasols.
Amazing and impressive Still life in progress by Sue. What a light - and what a reflection!!
